Hi Simon, does it allow you to sell subscription service ?
Simon Chiu
@imknight Not yet, but a draft is written on another branch of the code.
Jag Kakarlapudi
@imknight @geetfun What is the ETA?
Simon Chiu
@imknight @jagkakarlapudi Likely over the next 1 month. Sign up for an account at Workorder.io and you'll receive a notification of when this new feature is released.

Looks fab. Anyway to sell digital products ?
Simon Chiu
@iprashantpillai Not yet. Right now this is aimed at selling services. Are you looking to sell digital assets and have the app deliver them to the customer? If so, what kind of digital assets were you thinking of?
Prashant Pillai
@geetfun PDF's / Music / Videos
Simon Chiu
@iprashantpillai Thanks for the feedback. I'll add it to the app's feature request list.

Hey guys! Is this a standalone service or is there an option to tie this into an existing site? :)
Simon Chiu
@benjamin_skipwith_smith Excellent question! Yes, an embeddable plugin is in the works. Join our FB group or sign up to the app for an account to be kept posted about this.
Benjamin Skipwith Smith
@geetfun thanks my friend. Very cool I'll take a look ;)

How do you plan to monetize this in the future?
Simon Chiu
@livecoinwatchmb The current monetization (ie. business model) is through the transaction fee on the pay as you go plan, or through the annual plan. Creating and publishing a site, linking it with your custom domain (with SSL) is free for all users.

@geetfun tech question: I see you use Rails here, how did you implement the order page editor, especially the WYSIWYG part like editing stuff in the modals?
Simon Chiu
@daniel_levelev The editors are shown in an iframe and uses parent/child messaging. Here are some docs for this web API: https://developer.mozilla.org/en.... You would inject some JS that detected events in the child window, send it back to the parent to trigger some UI (eg. modal) change. Ping me at simon@workorder.io if you have questions.

Any plans for subscription and potentially adding coupon code just in case we run promotions for different events?
Simon Chiu
@kay_tan Yes, the subscription and discount will be released soon
tanmer
Do you have any plan to localized to Chinese? We are a Rails team in China, and very like your product.
