Challenge yourself daily with Wordamid! A simple yet addictive word game where you strategically add letters and anagram to build an ever-growing word chain from a 3-letter start. How long can your word pyramid grow?

Cool game! I played today's challenge and it was fun.
I think the game scoring should factor in how difficult each stage is based on the number of word possibilities available (i.e. how many word possibilities are available given the letters used at each stage). Having some kind of 'hint' feature (maybe a one-time use per day) would be helpful, even if it only suggested the letter that provides the most word possibilities for any given stage. Lastly, this app would definitely benefit from a mobile version. 😊
@smjburton Hey Scott! Thanks so much for playing Wordamid and for the awesome feedback. I'm thrilled you had fun with today's challenge! 😄
That's a really interesting thought about factoring in stage difficulty for scoring! It's definitely something I hadn't considered yet, but it makes a lot of sense how the number of possibilities could change the challenge level. Definitely food for thought for future updates.
And a hint feature is a fantastic idea! I can see how a one-time suggestion for the 'most promising letter' could be super helpful on those trickier days. I'll add that to my list of things to explore.
By a mobile version, do you mean an app?
Really appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts, this kind of feedback is gold for a solo dev. Cheers!
@ilyassal
Yes, exactly. This would make it easier to play on the go.
Glad you found my comments helpful, good luck!

@ilyassal @smjburton What about a PWA? They are easier to implement and users can install them to their homepage for later quick access. They also keep developers away from the app store hassles(long approvals, slow updates, ASO etc.).
@ilyassal @mlkrsrc I think PWAs can work as a stop-gap solution (I actually use them quite frequently), but for the average user, their expectation is an app in the app store.
Wordamid is my new daily brain workout—starting with just three letters and building up is way more addictive than I expected. It’s the perfect mix of strategy and wordplay that keeps me coming back for more.
