I get that this is supposed to make blogging easier for hackers and founders, but honestly, the "distraction-free editor" feels a bit oversold, there are plenty of tools out there that claim to do the same, does it really bring something new to the table? SEO optimization and global delivery sound great in theory, but are they actually effective or just marketing buzzwords, also, couldn't there be more flexibility in the setup process?
Appreciate the insights @amiraconsults. Will definitely look into that. I've got that from some of my early users who mentioned that the editorial experience of the product they worked with made it impossible for them to write or create. I wanted to focus on making sure the space is conducive for content creation.
We are currently serving over 20 LIVE sites, many with thousands of views and 2 with tens of thousands of views monthly already. I know it's not massive right now but we have the infrastructure set up for scale already.
If you are looking to set up and face issues with it, do drop me an email I'll be glad to help!
This looks promising, @raymond_yeh! The focus on a distraction-free editor and easy setup is definitely appealing for busy founders. How do you plan to ensure scalability for users with high traffic? Also, are there any specific integrations with analytics tools planned for the future? Excited to see how Wisp evolves, especially with the contextual CTAs feature coming up!
Great questions @elke_qin!
On scalability:
We are currently watching our user's traffic needs and have automatic scaling plans in place with edge cache provided.
That said, we are looking to transit into a separate infrastructure with our own multi-tiered cache. That will be db read replicas + content delivery node + varnish cache in key geographical locations around the world.
On integration:
As we are a headless CMS, our user can integrate with ANY analytics tools. Personally I use GA + Posthog alongside wisp's own site.
This means that users can choose whatever provider that best align to their privacy policy and GDPR or other requirements too!
Ps. Contextual CTA is recently released, see this post https://www.wisp.blog/features/c...
Hey @kyrylosilin, we return all the metadata you need for an optimized web page. In addition, a few of our customers are using static builds to maximize the page loading speed too!
We have also a template for customers to fork to have an optimized blog from the get-go: https://github.com/Wisp-CMS/next...
Will be releasing a new one soon that is more suitable for corporate blogs!

Hey Raymond nice work! I'm considering Wisp for a potential project but I can't help but wonder if you have a data portability policy so that in the event that Wisp becomes defunct, my company will not lose all our content?
Hey @v_m15, I think I know you from somewhere. Thanks for the support!
Yes, we will be releasing an export function where you will be able to download the entire set of content in either markdown or html so that you will never lose your data!

Found it through an ad, seems like it’s trying too hard to be simple, sure it’s easy to set up but feels like another tool for people who don’t wanna put in effort, maybe try adding more advanced features for those who like more control
