We recently realized we were falling into a classic vanity metric trap. We were getting thousands of visitors hitting our site, the analytics looked amazing, but our calendar was completely empty. Almost no one was actually booking a demo.
It s incredibly frustrating to see all that traffic bounce without taking the next step. I'm wondering who else here has faced this exact same issue?
It feels like there's a massive disconnect between optimizing for eyeballs and actually capturing intent. If you've been in this boat, how did you figure out where the drop-off was happening? Was it a messaging problem, a friction-heavy CTA, or were you just attracting the wrong kind of traffic altogether?
Would love to hear your experiences and how some of you managed to fix the leaks in your funnel.
Scam AI
Nice launch. Quick question, how does it tell the difference between someone actually buying and someone just doing vendor research? Those two look the same for the first few messages in my experience.
@neo_tiangratanakul
Thanks Neo 🙏 You're right, the first few messages look the same.
What separates them is specificity. Research asks broad comparison questions and stops. A real buyer brings their own situation in, their stack, team size, a timeline, an objection. That usually shows up by message three or four, and the score moves then, not on the opening question.
Tapfree
Looks great! Can it connect to external CRMs to track support queries?
@mansehej Yes, CRM sync is on the paid plans. Conversations and captured leads flow through with the company and score attached.
One thing worth flagging: it's built around sales conversations, not support ticketing, so it sits next to a helpdesk rather than replacing one.
Which CRM are you using?
BestDefense.io
Seems strong! I'd like to know a bit more about live agent routing. I'd be happy with it as is to field a lot of traffic we get. Also, how does it keep out AI responders?
Outcome
@doganakbulut @adamkamaneh @trevor_lowe Really interesting idea - curious if you see this as a replacement to a sales team / or BDR / appointment bookers? Or if you (in its current state) see this as more of an adjacent offering to capture more of the folks visiting the site etc?

Hi @doganakbulut and team congrats on the launch.
a quick: What will happen if visitor starts chatting in German but my team only speaks English?
Hey Product Hunt 👋
Adam here, co-founder of Widgo.
Widgo started as a small internal feature we built for ourselves.
We were tired of watching people visit our website, read about our product, and leave without ever talking to us. So we built an AI sales rep that could actually have the conversation for us.
Then we showed it to a few people.
The reaction was crazy.
People immediately started asking, “Can we use this too?”
That’s when we made one of the biggest decisions we’ve ever made: we took this internal feature and turned it into a company.
We pivoted from Paillor to Widgo and went all in.
And honestly, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
Widgo works with one line of code. It scans your website and docs, learns your product, talks to visitors, figures out which company they’re from, qualifies them with a 0–100 score, and books meetings directly inside the conversation.
We tried to find something that did all of this before building it. The tools we found started around $88,000/year, and some even required Salesforce.
We wanted something simple enough for a small team.
So we built it.
Today, 200+ teams have Widgo live, and last month it handled 12,400 conversations and booked 700 meetings.
And we’re keeping it free forever with no credit card required, so anyone can try it.
We’re incredibly excited to finally share Widgo with Product Hunt. 🚀
Go talk to it, try to break it, and tell us where it gets things wrong. ❤️
@adamkamaneh you mentioned it identifies the company behind anonymous sessions does it use a reverse IP lookup for that? well nice launch
@priya_kushwaha1
Thanks Priya 🙌
Yes, reverse IP lookup is the first layer, then we enrich it so you get real firmographics, not just a company name. It won't resolve every session (residential IPs, VPNs), and we leave those anonymous rather than guess.
Are you looking at this for your own site's traffic?
@adamkamaneh not for my own site right now.. I help coordinate campaigns and support software launches so I'm always keeping an eye on cool new tools like this.
@priya_kushwaha1 Lovely, when ever you are ready just ping me I will personally help you to onboard. :)
@adamkamaneh The calendar booking part sounds interesting- how well does it qualify before booking ?
@dipanshu_kushwaha5 Based on your knowledge base, Widgo automatically sets criteria to score visitors from 0 to 100 based on fit and intent. But you can customize it anytime.
@adamkamaneh @dipanshu_kushwaha5 The score is not a black box. You can see why a visitor scored what they scored and change the criteria yourself. Nothing books a meeting silently, you set the threshold.

What does the Chat look like? I'm curious if you're interested in including Avatars in your next iteration. We have some you can use ;-)
@maria_wall_ball Good timing Maria. The widget is a side panel, and avatars are already in there. You can pick one from our library or upload your own image, whatever fits the brand.
Still curious what you have though, send me a link. Are yours video avatars or stills?
Creatium
@doganakbulut Ours are avatars! We have some APIs coming soon... we should probably talk :-)
