Traffic vs. Intent: What's your demo conversion rate?
We recently realized we were falling into a classic vanity metric trap. We were getting thousands of visitors hitting our site, the analytics looked amazing, but our calendar was completely empty. Almost no one was actually booking a demo.
It s incredibly frustrating to see all that traffic bounce without taking the next step. I'm wondering who else here has faced this exact same issue?
It feels like there's a massive disconnect between optimizing for eyeballs and actually capturing intent. If you've been in this boat, how did you figure out where the drop-off was happening? Was it a messaging problem, a friction-heavy CTA, or were you just attracting the wrong kind of traffic altogether?
Would love to hear your experiences and how some of you managed to fix the leaks in your funnel.
Are AI agents actually booking qualified demos?
Outbound sales feels harder than ever. Cold email open rates are dropping, response rates are down, and manually finding good leads takes hours.
We are looking into deploying AI agents to handle the top-of-funnel work identifying accounts, enriching prospect data, and writing personalized cold outreach.
For teams actually running AI sales agents for outbound: are you seeing real booked meetings and pipeline, or is it mostly low-quality leads and burned domain reputations?
What is your biggest bottleneck when getting these agents to work?
The anonymous traffic problem
This is still the strangest part of running a website to me.
Analytics tells you a session happened. Maybe a country. Then the person is gone and you have no idea if they were a buyer, a competitor, or a bot.
We started tracking which companies land on our own site and my first reaction was not excitement, it was regret. There were names in there I would have replied to that same morning if I had known.
When someone visits your site and leaves without filling anything in, do you try to figure out who they were, or do you let it go?
