I built WebVrDev Bg Remover because I wanted a simple background remover that doesn’t force creators to upload every image to a server. The goal was: open the page, drop an image, remove the background, refine the edge, and save a transparent PNG. During development, the tool evolved from a basic test into a practical browser app with WebGPU/WASM fallback, zoom and pan preview, mask cleanup controls, presets for different image types, and installable PWA behavior. I’d love feedback on precision, speed, mobile usability, and which edge cases need better results.
