I built WaxFrame to land the job I have now. I was writing my own resume, so I pasted it into several different AI models and asked each one to critique it. Then I fed all their responses into ChatGPT — the only one I was paying for at the time — and had it synthesize a rewrite. I repeated that: collect critiques, resynthesize, repeat, until every model agreed the resume was as good as it could get. That manual back-and-forth is now WaxFrame: a hive of AI models that critique a document across rounds while a separate Builder AI handles the synthesis, until they converge. No backend, no account — runs in your browser with your own API keys. AGPL-3.0 open source. Meta detail: I used WaxFrame itself to help write the Quick Start Guide and some of this launch's marketing copy — the hive reviewing its own documentation.

Why I built a "hive" of AI models to review documents instead of just picking one

Hey PH WaxFrame launches this Tuesday (Aug 4) and I wanted to open this up before then.

The idea started from a simple annoyance: every AI writing tool picks one model and treats its opinion as the answer. But different models actually disagree with each other in useful ways one catches structural issues, another catches tone, another catches factual gaps.

WaxFrame runs your document through a "hive" of Worker Bee AIs ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, Mistral, and Perplexity by default, plus Cohere, DeepSeek, Jamba, and Together AI as custom add-ins that critique it in rounds, then a separate Builder AI synthesizes their feedback into revisions. When the hive disagrees, you get pulled in as the tiebreaker instead of one model silently overriding another.

It's a vanilla HTML/CSS/JS app no backend, no server round-trips with your document, runs entirely in your browser with your own API keys. Free edition + a Pro version.
