Congrats on launch! I would try making a tiny racing game for friends 😼
I just tried making a simple game, and honestly, I'm blown away by how cool this is! Being able to freely edit and customize the AI-generated game makes it even more impressive. Also, the Japanese street scene looks absolutely beautiful!
I have a couple of questions:
Can games created with this platform be published on Google Play or the Apple App Store?
Can the platform also build standalone macOS and Windows versions of the games?
@yongqiang_zhou So glad you liked it! And yes, that Japanese street scene is one of our favorites too.
rn, games don't get packaged as separate App Store / Google Play apps. They live on Wanaka and run in the browser, so anyone can play from a link on any device.
Also, our mobile app is launching soon, and games you publish will show up there directly. More people can find and play what you make, no store submission needed.
@yongqiang_zhou Thank you! We will support publishing games on GP and App store, and the macOS and Windows for sure!
The link between direct edits and the next AI prompt is the part I'd watch closely. Once someone has adjusted a scene by hand, keeping those choices through the next change matters.
@oleksii_sekundant Absolutely. Preserving your manual edits and creative choices across future AI changes is central to the experience we want to build.
Our goal is for the agent system and engine to feel like a game development team working with you—not just a box where you type a wish and hope for the best. A game designer helps you flesh out your ideas, an artist offers several carefully considered visual directions and color palettes, and a QA tester helps you efficiently check what’s been built.
Throughout that process, the creator’s ideas and decisions should take priority. The team helps you realize your vision; you stay in control.
@oleksii_sekundant Totally agree!! The AI agent's ability to sync human adjustments in real time is our key feature.
the real test is whether I can make something playable before I overthink it
@wys1010 Trust me, Wanaka is much easier to get started with than traditional game engines. You can build something fun in Wanaka in the time it takes to get through the tutorials for most other engines.
@wys1010 Haha same, I’ve talked myself out of so many ideas before even starting. Try giving it five minutes and see what you end up with.
