Launched this week
Activity Monitor lists a thousand processes, a hundred of them called Google Chrome Helper. Vitals adds every helper to the app that launched it, so you see 60 apps instead of 1,000 processes, each with one figure for memory, CPU, energy, disk and network. It keeps 30 days of history, alerts you when an app misbehaves, finds forgotten dev servers, and shows temperatures, fans and battery. Every readout can sit in your menu bar, arranged your way. Pay once. No subscription, no account.

Good luck with the launch! Awesome product ❤️
@alexcloudstar thank you!
launch day nerves are real, this helps.
Congratulations on the launch! This is amazing!
@makadiaharsh Thank you so much 🙌
glad you like it!
grouping by app instead of process is the right call, Activity Monitor's list is basically unreadable once you have six Chrome helpers and three Electron apps running. one thing I'd want before switching: does Vitals itself show up as a meaningful line item in its own list, or does a menu bar monitor conveniently forget to count its own overhead the way a lot of these tools do?
@galdayan Fair question, and yes. Vitals is in its own list like any other app, with its memory and CPU counted the same way. Nothing hidden.
If it ever gets heavy, you'll see it there first. And I'd want to hear about it.
