Hi Product Hunt 👋 I’ve been playing with the idea behind ville for a long time. Years ago, I put together a first version for myself in Airtable — basically a simple system to help me be more intentional about staying in touch with the people I care about. I ended up using it for years, and the methodology worked surprisingly well. The problem was that it was an Airtable setup. It worked for me, but it was complicated, clunky, and almost impossible to share with anyone else. That eventually became the motivation for ville: take the system that had already proven useful in my own life and turn it into something simple, beautiful, and intuitive that anyone can use. ville helps you keep track of meaningful interactions, set simple goals for staying in touch, and get gentle reminders when someone may have slipped off your radar. Privacy was important from the start. Your relationship data is encrypted before it leaves your device, and we can’t read or monetize it. After living with this idea for years, I’m really excited to finally put ville out into the world.
