**A bit of background:**
Gavin and I were early employees at Intercom. I was tasked with scaling our EMEA outbound sales team. It was difficult to say the least (high quality outreach was time consuming and unscalable).
After I demoed some manual video outreach to the business at a show and tell, Gavin approached me with a crazy idea to scale personalised videos, GIFs and images.
Over the course of 3 years we built internal tools and sent hundreds of thousands of personalised assets for the marketing and sales teams. It worked - we learnt a ton.
At some point our ambition to tackle the problem of `scaling personalised outreach` became so great that we decided to create Vidu.
We’ve always wanted to build this video product.
Everything we’ve done at Vidu over the last 12 months has been to get us to this point.
We offer a range of outreach personalisation products (GIFs, Memes, Videos).
GIFs/Memes offer a free plan, with video being our premium product for larger sales teams.

We use this for our B2B service company and we have received a TON of positive responses on our personalized GIFs used in our email outreach.
This software consistently generates big returns on the price paid for their GIFs. The definition of a hidden gem. Highly underrated.
Although the software is not yet where it could be, our company has grown somewhat dependent on this tool.
We used this product back in 2024 and were quite satisfied with it. Recently, I wanted to restart my subscription, and I pointed out that according to their pricing, it’s possible to use a custom domain even with a monthly plan, which was perfect for my testing needs. In response, Gavin explicitly told me that he didn’t want me as a customer anymore and basically showed me the door. It’s a shame, because while the product itself is good, it definitely feels like Galvin isn’t really interested in doing business. For that reason, I can’t recommend this service. Beyond technology, it’s important to work with people who are respectful and open, and I hope Gavin can understand that.
