I'm a solo maker and I just spent a few months building resume tools, so I've been staring at this problem too long to see it straight. Genuine question for this crowd:
When you apply somewhere, do you send a PDF, a link to a personal site, both or does it not matter anymore?
What pushed me here: every "AI resume builder" I tried wanted my email before it showed me anything, then quietly uploaded my resume to their server. That felt backwards for a document full of my address, phone number, and work history. So I built the opposite everything runs in the browser, the PDF never leaves your machine and along the way I kept adding tools (PDF personal site, GitHub username portfolio, an ATS "how a robot reads your resume" score, bullet rewriter). 11 of them now, all free, no signup.
But I keep second-guessing the core bet: that people actually WANT a viberesume.in/theirname link instead of just a clean PDF.
