how accurate is the plant identification when dealing with younger seedlings or plants that look really similar to each other?
@kaz_m73718 Thanks for the great question! 🌱 The app performs well for most seedlings and similar-looking plants, though very young plants can sometimes be more challenging since they haven't developed their distinctive features yet. I'm continuously improving the AI model to make it more accurate over time. Thanks for checking it out!
how well does it handle plants that look super similar, like pothos vs philodendron? that's the kind of thing that always trips me up
@asyagulerm7389 Thanks for the question! 😊 Yes, it can correctly identify very similar-looking plants like Pothos and Philodendron in most cases. I've worked on making the identification as accurate as possible, and I'm continuously improving the model to handle even more challenging plant varieties. Thanks for checking it out! 🌿
How accurate is the plant ID on rarer or houseplant cultivars, and does it factor in things like light conditions from your camera or just rely on the species match for care tips?
@erdem532247 Great question! 🌿 The app is designed to identify both common and many rare plants, although uncommon cultivars can sometimes be more difficult. For care tips, it primarily relies on the identified species rather than lighting conditions in the photo. I'm planning to make the recommendations even smarter in future updates. Thanks for the thoughtful question!
Love how the camera-first flow gets out of your way. No endless menus or sign-up walls before you can actually use the thing. That kind of restraint is rare, and it makes the whole experience feel genuinely helpful right from the first tap.
@abdullahye5c6w Thank you! 😊 I'm really happy you enjoyed the camera-first experience. I wanted the app to be simple, fast, and useful from the very first tap. Thanks for the support! 🌱
