VedaTrace is a minimal, edge-native observability tool built to cut through noise. With zero-overhead ingestion on Cloudflare Workers, AI that explains errors in plain English, privacy-first PII scrubbing, and fair usage-based pricing, it delivers fast, focused insights without bloated dashboards or dropped logs.

Hey Product Hunters! 👋
I’m the maker of VedaTrace.
The idea for this started out of pure frustration. Like many of you, I’m a huge fan of tools like Sentry and PostHog—they are absolute powerhouses. But lately, I found myself spending more time configuring my observability tools than actually observing my code.
As an indie dev/small team, I realized I was paying a "complexity tax." I was overwhelmed by:
30-page onboarding checklists.
Massive SDKs that felt like adding a second app to my codebase.
Endless dashboard "widgets" just to see why a basic POST request failed.
I kept asking myself: Why is it so hard to just see the signal?
I built VedaTrace as the antidote. It’s built on a "Zero-Config" philosophy. I wanted a tool that:
Lives at the Edge: Using Cloudflare Workers to make ingestion invisible to app performance.
Scrubs by Default: PII is redacted before it ever hits my database.
Explains, doesn't just Report: Using AI to turn a cryptic stack trace into a one-sentence fix suggestion.
VedaTrace isn't trying to be an enterprise "everything-engine." It’s built for the developer who is working late, something just broke, and they need the answer in two clicks—not a 10-minute deep dive into a bloated UI.
I’d love for you to try it out. I'm especially keen to hear from fellow indie devs: Does this give you the clarity you've been missing?
I'll be here all day to answer questions!
