Google + LinkedIn + press releases was 15–20 minutes per company. Of course, I tried AI. Ask it to profile 10 companies in one chat and by company 5 it's mixing up funding rounds between entities, filling in gaps with confident nonsense. Context bleed. So I thought about where the data actually lives — CMS datasets, EHR partner directories, health system press releases — and whether the paywall was real or just the default assumption. Mostly it wasn't real. Varys runs each company through its own isolated research pass. No shared context, source citations and confidence levels on every field.
