VakeelSaathi replaces the human munshi (legal clerk) for Indian advocates. Auto-syncs eCourts hearings, drafts BNS/BNSS-compliant petitions with AI, tracks outcomes, and runs your practice from WhatsApp, for less than one clerk's monthly salary.
Used it for a few days and the WhatsApp-based practice management actually feels less clunky than the apps I've tried. Drafting a Section 138 petition with the AI caught me off guard, it pulled in the right BNS sections without much prodding.

The auto-pull of BNS sections comes from grounding drafts in the actual Sanhita text we just finished importing from the official India Code today, so it should be even sharper now. Section 138 is a real stress test since it lives at the IPC/NIA overlap. Curious: anything else you tried that fell short?
The eCourts auto-sync alone is worth it, I used to spend my mornings cross-checking cause lists manually and now it just shows up in WhatsApp before I even reach court. Petition drafting is solid for first drafts though I still tweak the language myself. Genuinely useful for solo advocates.

On the drafts: what kind of tweaks are you doing? We're rolling out per-bench style profiles this month, and if you can share what you're editing (formatting, phrasing, structure), we'd love examples to tune it on.
Congrats on the launch, this looks genuinely useful for solo advocates juggling eCourts and drafting. One thing I'd love to see is a built-in cause list exporter that also flags potential date clashes with your existing hearings, not just synced cases. That way the AI isn't only reacting to the court schedule but actively protecting you from missed or overlapping dates, which is where most clerks earn their keep.
@berkayotip Thanks, Berkay! Date clash detection is a sharp suggestion; you're right that a synced cause list is passive, but flagging overlapping hearings across matters is where the real value is. Adding this to the roadmap. Quick question since you clearly know this space: would you want clash alerts only for confirmed hearing dates, or also for tentative next dates the AI predicts from case history?
