I keep seeing small service businesses answer the same website enquiries over and over:
pricing
availability
bookings
policies
services offered
The default solution today seems to be:
add an AI chatbot that tries to answer everything, or
add live chat and have someone answer manually.
How does it actually pull in the approved info, is it scraping my site or do I have to feed it manually, and does that setup take long?
@birsenu6d2 Hi Birsen, great question. You can simply paste your website URL and Uttar will crawl your website content automatically. You can also upload documents if there is additional information you'd like it to know about.
Uttar uses that information to answer customer enquiries on your website, and unlike fully autonomous chatbots, you stay in control of what visitors are told. You can review, edit and refine answers whenever you want.
The Q&A collection grows naturally as visitors ask questions, so you don't have to spend days building everything manually upfront.
Most businesses can get their Front Desk live in just a few minutes.
Took it for a spin on a friend's small clinic site and the answered exactly what was on the services page without making anything up. Love that it flags questions it can't handle instead of winging it.
@zelihadogruyer Thanks, Zeliha! Knowing when not to answer was one of the main goals behind Uttar.
Finally tried this on my yoga studio site and the answered questions feature is solid, no awkward made up responses when something is outside scope.
@akkannazar33376 Thanks, Nazar! Glad the boundaries felt natural — that's exactly the balance I was aiming for.
