I have a few questions regarding this product: 1. Isn't this a potential trademark infringement on OpenAI's "ChatGPT" brand name? 2. If so, what's the strategy for long term? 3. The extension and privacy policy say you collect user data, including "network monitoring, clicks, mouse position, scroll or keystroke logging" -- Where does this data go and how is it stored and treated?

As for the data collection, I'm quite sensitive to any extensions I use and always monitor the network activities of those extensions. , I haven't come across any suspicious activities with the useChatGPT extension yet, seems they only send prompt directly to chatgpt and no other traffic (BTW, which is not true for many other Chrome extensions out there, sadly) Still, It would be ideal for the maker @mark9683 to clarify their data collection, storage, and treatment practices, as it's essential to ensure user privacy and trust.

Our intention is to express the functionality of the product itself. In the long term, we are committed to operating ethically and respecting intellectual property rights, if this causes any problem, we will change the name accordingly. Also, regarding privacy, I apologize for any confusion caused. We've already corrected the privacy page which was caused by an old prototype page used accidentally during our speedy rollout. I want to clarify that we've never been collecting any personal information at all, and we are committed to protecting your privacy. Additionally, feel free to monitor our extension's network activity for added peace of mind.

@mark9683 I already wondered why the Google App store says 17 users. But I did not know your extension required me to open a ChatGPT window, which would slow down my RAM. Afterward, I put the extension off and still opened ChatGPT. It still doesn't, even though I removed the app. Do you know how I can remove this? UPDATE So far, resetting to the original settings is the only way to remove this. And then you do need to log into every platform.

We actually launched the extension just today and it's only been up on the Chrome web store for less than 24 hours, which is why the app store is only showing 17 users. If you want to uninstall the extension, all you have to do is go to chrome://extensions/ and click on "Remove" - it's super easy! @mark9683 @jas801 if you don't want to use an extension, just disable the extension (or uninstall it) and refresh the page and other tabs. If you don't refresh, other tab won't update automatically.
