Urbanum9 tells you what your garden needs today — water, skip, or check the soil — based on real weather and plant science. No account, no app to download, nothing tracked. Tell it your town and which side of the house each plant is on, and it handles the rest: fertilizing windows, pruning timing, disease-risk warnings, even your real hardiness zone — calculated automatically from 10 years of actual weather history.
Hey everyone — I built Urbanum9 because I wanted one simple thing: to know what my garden needed each morning without checking a forecast and doing the math myself.
A few things I cared about while building it: no login, because I don't think a garden tool needs to know who you are. No paywall, because the advice shouldn't depend on a subscription. And nothing tracked, because none of this needs to leave your browser except a weather lookup.
The one genuinely different piece is the direction mechanic — instead of asking "how much sun does this get," it just asks which side of the house a plant is on, and works out real sun exposure from that.
Would love any feedback — this is a solo build, still growing, and I'm around all day to answer questions.
