We built Urbalytics because navigating Japan’s real estate market is unnecessarily difficult — even for professionals. Public data is scattered across outdated PDFs, zoning maps require local expertise, and market intelligence often lives behind closed networks. As real estate operators ourselves, we spent far too much time scraping sites, interpreting legal documents, and building manual models. So we decided to solve our own pain.
What’s unique about Urbalytics is its local-first, professional-grade approach. Unlike generic real estate search tools or overseas data platforms that don’t understand the Japanese context, Urbalytics deeply integrates with Japan’s planning regulations, tax logic, building codes, and investment practices. We support multi-faceted valuation across multiple property types, yield estimation, rent upside analysis etc — all built natively in Japanese, English, and Chinese.
We’re most proud that Urbalytics is already in use by institutional investors, brokers, and operators to underwrite and acquire real assets in Japan. This launch isn’t just a beta — it’s a battle-tested product that has already helped close deals. And we’re opening it up because we believe more transparency and better tools will raise the entire market.
