@jgani, that’s interesting about the full page refresh—I wasn’t aware of that detail. From what I’ve observed, and especially from discussions with the CMO of Jaeves, @hussam_gpt, who is an avid PH user, simply visiting the site, even with a full page refresh, hasn't always been enough to maintain a streak. Our CMO, a long-time PH streaker, has experienced streak losses despite daily visits. It seems that active engagement, like upvoting or commenting, plays a crucial role in streak continuation. It might be worth exploring how the plugin could encourage or track such interactions to help users keep their streaks alive. Appreciate your efforts to make our PH experience even better!

@abdullahkaludi Thanks for the support Abdullah. No the Chrome extension doesn't use Product Hunt's API. It just reacts to your browsing on Product Hunt, by sending a ping to the server, at most once a day. The server is then configured to send a reminder email near the end of the day if it hasn't seen that ping.
