Great idea.
I had a technical writing professor in college who had us turn off the computer monitor when writing a first draft. Often just getting your thoughts out as quickly and as unorganized as possible is better than getting ahead of yourself, self-editing and producing nothing.
LOL, @helencrozier. Tangent: I used to work with an engineer at PlayHaven that brought in his old, giant keyboard to work. I had to wear headphones to drowned out the CLANK of each keystroke.

I'm so prehistoric I learned to type on on of those things and got all excited when I started to work anywhere that had the ibm selectric golfball job. @rrhoover
