Trustora

Get paid upfront. Secure B2B milestones with Stripe Connect.

Stop chasing invoices. Trustora is the B2B OS that syncs legal contracts directly with Stripe payouts. It replaces "trust me bro" with code: ✅ Milestone-based routing: Client funds it upfront, you get paid on approval. ✅ Localized Contracts: Auto-generates clauses based on country. ✅ Fair Pricing: Fees are capped at $150 (no % gouging on high-ticket projects). Built with Laravel & Next.js to kill "Shadow Admin" work.

What do you think? …

Arsene Claudiu Ion

Hey Product Hunt 👋

I built Trustora after watching too many freelancers finish the work… and never get paid.

One bad client can wipe out weeks of work. One dispute can block your cashflow.

Trustora locks the money before work starts.
You release it only when milestones are approved.

❓ Honest question for freelancers & agencies here:
What’s the worst payment experience you’ve had — and how did you handle it?

I’ll personally reply to every story.

The project sounds great. Will it be available globally? Also, are the contracts legally binding?

Arsene Claudiu Ion

@madalina_minca Glad you like it!

To answer your questions:

  1. Yes, we are global for clients, and we support providers in any country where Stripe Connect is available (currently 46+ countries).

  2. Yes, the contracts are fully legally binding. We use standard digital signatures and localized clauses to ensure they are enforceable in court.

@arsene94 Great vision! Regarding the milestone flow: For my projects, the biggest hurdle is usually 'Scope Creep.' Does the flow allow for easy amendments to milestones once the contract is already live, or does that trigger a whole new agreement?

Also, curious how you handle the 'approval' trigger if a client goes ghost at the end of a milestone.

What happens if a freelancer finishes a milestone but the client forgets to click "Approve"?

Can milestones be split (e.g., 50% upfront, 50% on delivery)?

Can these contracts be used as evidence for tax/compliance outside of the app?

@andrei_condurachi

These are fantastic questions! You hit on the exact edge cases regarding 'human behavior' that we spent the most time solving.

  1. Scope Creep: We know B2B projects are fluid. You don't need a whole new contract. We allow you to add "Addendums" or extra milestones to an active project. Both parties just need to approve the new scope/fee digitally, and it gets legally appended to the existing agreement chain.

  2. The "Ghosting" Client: This is the #1 fear for freelancers. We implemented an auto-mediation window. If you submit work and the client goes silent for a set period (e.g., 14 days) without requesting changes, the provider can trigger a dispute/release request. The funds don't just sit in limbo forever.

  3. Split Payments: Yes! You have full flexibility. You can break a $5k project into as many micro-milestones as you want (e.g., "Kickoff - 50%" and "Final Delivery - 50%").

  4. Tax/Compliance: Absolutely. The platform generates a downloadable, legally binding PDF for every contract and amendment, complete with transaction IDs. It is designed specifically to serve as your proof of income/expense for tax authorities.

Thanks for pushing on these details!

@arsene94 I use Upwork a lot and another thing I face and disappoints me is that in the past 30 days I applied to 10 projects (most of them really exciting to work on) but only 2 of the clients actually looked at my proposal.

Is there a way to prevent that on the new platform? As a developer, that's very discouraging.

Arsene Claudiu Ion

@andrei_condurachi

I hear you. The 'apply and pray' method is exhausting. 📉

That 20% view rate is brutal and sadly common on Upwork because posting a job there is 'too easy' (low intent).

On Trustora, we focus on High Intent. Because our core mechanic requires the client to fund the milestone upfront to activate the contract, we naturally filter out the 'window shoppers' and tire-kickers.

If a client is on Trustora, they aren't just browsing; they have their wallet connected and are ready to build.

Congrats on the launch! regarding the 'Shadow Admin' problem—does the platform also generate the invoices automatically once a milestone is released?

Arsene Claudiu Ion

@ionut_bogdan

Glad you asked! Yes, 100%.

Automating the paper trail is a huge part of Trustora. Once the client approves the work and funds are released, a downloadable invoice is generated immediately for both parties. No manual drafting required.
