But the limited set of emotions and facial expressions, plus the lack of natural articulation, still feels uncanny and very artificial. The depth of conversation was also low. I assume the models are pre-trained on a fixed dataset and don’t have internet access — for example, the career-coach Chloe was giving generic, surface-level advice with no specific courses or books.
Is it possible to train an avatar on a larger, domain-specific dataset — for example, a veterinary telemedicine expert that can look at a dog via video, ask targeted questions, and give recommendations based on veterinary data and the knowledge it was trained on?
