I'm late to the party @dominic_zijlstra but stoked to see what you're building with Traverse and how it's going to help me better learn Chinese with the Mandarin Blueprint curriculum. Great to see Luke and Phil are on board. Your approach to building in public and the community support reminds me of Obsidian.
The theory of Spaced-repetition and active recall optimizes the learning process by helping learners to retain information better over a longer time period. This simple product has substantial and obvious benefits because it integrates Spaced-repetition and Active recall more accessibly and completely than ever. An invaluable addition to the canon of learning techniques. Thanks for sharing.
I've read a lot about the science of learning, but had struggled to find a method that would consistently work for me to retain information. I like that Traverse.link was built to be opinionated, but with researched-based principles that are proven to work. If you're a learner of any kind, it's definitely worth trying this tool.
