How does TrackBin handle the handoff when a customer returns something damaged or missing pieces? Curious if that’s tracked inside the same flow or if it kicks off a separate claims process.
@glcanfkuk Hey, thanks for checking out TrackBin and for the great question.
To be honest, we don't have a dedicated flow for damage tracking or a separate claims process built into the handoff just yet. It is definitely on our roadmap though, because we know how critical that is for asset ROI. Right now we are figuring out the best way to add this without making the driver's daily workflow too complicated.
One idea we are playing with is generating a unique QR code or a quick confirmation link for each dispatch. When the driver goes to pick up the asset, they could just scan it, snap a photo, and instantly log it as either good to go or flag it for damages right from the field.
Since you clearly know the logistics space, I'd love to hear your thoughts on what the ideal flow would look like. If you have any ideas on how we should implement this, feel free to shoot me an email at admin@trackbinapp.com.
Really appreciate the feedback!
Finally something that pulls quotes, dispatches, and overdue pickups into the same view without a mess of spreadsheets. The overdue pickup alert is genuinely useful, would have saved me hours last week.
@asyablkfrf0 Hey, thank you so much! Hearing this really validates what we are trying to do. We built TrackBin precisely because juggling quotes, dispatches, and inventory across different spreadsheets always turns into a massive headache. The overdue alerts were actually the very first thing we wanted to solve, just to stop that exact time-drain you mentioned. I really appreciate the kind words. If you ever decide to give it a spin, please let me know. I would love to hear your thoughts on how it fits into your actual workflow!
