Did you touch grass today? Shipped something? Did some marketing? Touched sand instead? Create a badge for your achievement and share it everywhere.

Touched Grass
Wow, I love this! The badge idea is so fun and a great way to celebrate small wins. How customizable are the badges, could I add my company logo?
Touched Grass
@jaydev13 happy you like it :)
Badges are currently not customizable, but might add this option. How would you imagine company logo on the badge? Instead of the emoji or full logo?
Touched Grass
@luke_glover you are right! I believe touching grass is something everyone should do as much as possible! So this is my little part of being net positive for the world :)
Touched Grass
@luke_glover Being too serious about it was actually never in my thinking, it all started as a joke when I gave out badges to people on X so I just continued the playful style :)
Depending on how big your app impacts mental health I think it is better to be serious, but maybe you can market some aspects of it in a playful way. Good luck with the launch! :)
Today I touched the "Upvote" button at 255 points 😉
Such a playful idea. Good job, Lars!

Lol, this is so simple but I love it. I feel like there's a lot more that can be done here. Like a "feed of grass" etc. Simple concept but awesome job brining it to life @builditn0w!
P.S. I really wish I could embed my badge (https://www.touched-grass.com/u/ALtiGwc91h)
Touched Grass
@gabe Thank you Gabe, appreciate the words :)
There is definitely a lot more I want to add. Embedding is noted and I am working on it!
Such a fun idea lol! I wish there were some badges to do with petting & kissing my doggie!
Touched Grass
@nicole_h94 there is already this badge: https://www.touched-grass.com/badges/dogs and I just shipped this one: https://www.touched-grass.com/badges/kissed-dog
have fun :)
If people like this, maybe there’s a real underlying need here? Maybe many IT specialists forget or are too lazy to just go for a walk and have completely disconnected from real life. I just realized that for the past week I’ve only gone outside to the store, and even that just to walk there instead of ordering delivery.
What if you create a motivation app that generates small “tasks” for you, like “go outside and touch some grass.” You go and mark it as completed, automatically get a badge for the achievement. You could use AI to recognize the surrounding environment and personalize tasks: for those who live by the sea — go for a swim, for those in the forest — take a walk in the woods. Task difficulty could range from 1 minute to several days and gradually increase, drawing the user in. Kind of a subtle motivator for a healthier and happier life.
