@ege1591300 No TikTok API, there isn't a public one for this. The server fetches the video's public page and pulls the real caption, hashtags, stats, and timestamp straight out of that page's own data, the same info your browser already sees visiting the URL.
That's actually why it holds up as the algorithm shifts: the score doesn't try to guess how TikTok ranks things. It grades a video's real reach first (actual likes/plays against nano→mega tiers), and every other category gets floored by that, a video that already got traction can't be penalized just for skipping a caption checklist. It's reacting to what really happened to your video, not betting on the algorithm.
The one thing that does need upkeep: TikTok occasionally changes its page's data format, which can break the fetcher until it's patched. Honest limitation, but isolated to one file, a quick fix, not a rewrite.
