This is absolutely essential if you are an employee at a tech company. In a previous CTO role, I encouraged my team members to diligently record their achievements. Those who didn't would shoot themselves in the foot come performance review time.

It's crazy the amount of people who miss out on promotions because they don't have a good achievements doc.
@entreeden It's literally one of the most important things in an employee's career, and yet people don't prioritise tracking their achievements. A small investment in this area would pay back many times over!

@dan_mindru Thank you Dan! We work with both the IC and managers on the company admin side. Individuals can only run a report on their work, while managers can run reports on others' work, which is an enterprise feature :)

Right now what we've found is people either:
1. Have a google doc that they maintain themselves
2. Use tools that make it easier to organize their tracking
We haven't found a tool that compares to Thinksy that actually does the work in finding that data and organizing it for you.

If I understood correctly, this is something the IT dept will have to buy and then activate / "allow" on the corp infra, right? i.e. just one person can't choose to use this on his/her work SaaS thingies?

@vicky_buddie Yep! Most tech companies will require this to go through a security audit then it'll be installed on the company workspace.
Although some smaller startups don't have a process like that and you can install it right away
