@sandhya_mishra1 Thank you Sandhya! have you tried our free version yet? you can get a sense of how Thinksy can help out and collaborate, we'd really appreciate any feedback you have!
@rahul_pandey23 I'm so glad! Yes that's exactly what we created it for, so you can keep up in real time, without spending a lot of time. I hope Thinksy can help you, thanks for the support!
@nafetswirth also Thinksy can be used for daily stand ups, weekly updates and other instances where you need to pull a report of what you've worked on. Not sure if those apply to you too but if it can, hopefully we can help!
This is absolutely essential if you are an employee at a tech company. In a previous CTO role, I encouraged my team members to diligently record their achievements. Those who didn't would shoot themselves in the foot come performance review time.

@jgani Thanks for taking a look, Jonni!
It's crazy the amount of people who miss out on promotions because they don't have a good achievements doc.
@entreeden It's literally one of the most important things in an employee's career, and yet people don't prioritise tracking their achievements. A small investment in this area would pay back many times over!

@jgani Definitely! Hopefully with Thinksy people wont miss out on anymore promotions :)
Any way to monitor quality contributions vs quantity?

@sentry_co Thanks for the question!
Honestly a lot of that is going to have to come fine tuning our prompting but we also make a point to not assess based on numbers.
Some things we look at:
- PR review comments (showing proof of helping others / areas of expertise)
- Bringing your team to consensus / decisions in Slack
- Execution, what are you actually releasing to users/customers and what is the impact
A lot of tools now just look at things like # of commits or lines changed 😬 We're hoping over time Thinksy becomes more and more holistic at reviewing an engineer.
@entreeden From my own experience. 20% of my contributions are the most impactful. And it's often the less visible and less flashy. Refactoring, research, code not written. Experiments not committed. It's hard to measure impact-fulness. If we tie promotion to work committed. You easily end up with the cobra effect. Dont get me wrong. I think you're working on the right problem. I just think like you mentioned. The holistic approach will be the feature that wins this space in the end.

@sentry_co Totally agree, I think the holistic view is hard to capture and why it hasn't been done right yet. We hope that this first iteration will get people started (make it easier to gather the info) and over time it becomes more and more accurate.
Thank you so much for taking the time to give us feedback!
@dan_mindru Thank you Dan! We work with both the IC and managers on the company admin side. Individuals can only run a report on their work, while managers can run reports on others' work, which is an enterprise feature :)
Hey @calli_fuch congrats on the launch. I personally don't need to use slack but I see how this could be very useful. I would suggest supporting other platforms like telegram and whats app
Telegram has most number of monthly subscribers of any chat app in the world and telegram chat groups grow to thousands, these users would pay a lot for this service. And it's very easy to integrate plugins in telegram.
What's app is heavily used in India and most parts of world for business, it would be hard to get paying users from here, but you can increase your MAUs here
Slack imo is more b2b, so you should reach out to bigger companies

@patnishubh Thanks for the feedback and checking it out, Shubh!
You're spot on in that we're targeting b2b which is why Slack is our first integration :)
We want people to use Thinksy at work to help them with their performance reviews.

Congratulations on this launch! Thinksy is a clever idea, especially for people who have multiple Slack channels and projects going on simultaneously. I am really afraid to lose something from time to time. Good luck!

@daria_sokolovskaya Thanks for taking a look, Daria! Appreciate the support!
@daria_sokolovskaya that's my constant fear too! Especially with different projects and information spread out across Slack, email, chat etc. Thanks for checking out Thinksy!
