What do you think? …

Praveen Nagol
Hello Nick, Definitely a great help for reaching out to coders. Looking forward to trying it. Good Luck
Nick O'Neill
@praveenagol Thanks Praveen!
Abe Storey
@allnick Hey! Nice work, this is interesting. To gauge, how much did one of your examples cost: https://www.tryswiftnyc.com/
Nick O'Neill
@abe_storey Hi Abe, we don't disclose the price for other projects but would be happy to provide you a quote for a project! That specific one was interesting because it needed to be done over the weekend and the client had a significant budget. We could typically do it for less. It really depends on whether or not there's an existing template, and turnaround time. Is there something you want done?
Mitch Menghi
@Nick is this provided for anyone internationally also like in Australia ? how are we suppose to text internationally ?
Nick O'Neill
@mitch_menghi you know I wasn't fully thinking it through when I launched. Shoot me an email if you'd like: nick@textacoder.com
RushMillerFoundation
GREAT IDEA! How does this differ from something like Toptal? Are you just for emergencies? I'm a technotard hiring the coder. Am I even someone your people can work with?
Nick O'Neill
@rushmillerfound honestly we are an alternative channel with a different interface :) I think there will be a number of development services. However from my own experience, TopTal typically assigns a developer to you vs a PM. However that may have changed..
John Kirk
Love the idea, just sent a text for a side project I've been kicking around but havent found time for
Alvin Milton
I have lots of projects I can outsource this way... considering it
Alessio Delmonti
As a european I basically don't use sms at all, I'd rather use emails. I like that you guarantee quality, this gives you a lot of credibility. Although I wonder what are the code quality standards.
Nick O'Neill
@alexintosh yep some people prefer email. Happy to cater to them as well. Just liked the idea of text and have a system I built for powering the conversation.
