Hi Hunters! 👋
I'm Dawe, the maker of TesterBuddy. I built this because I was tired of the 'silent TestFlight' problem—getting installs but zero feedback.
Today, I'm launching our Public Beta exclusively on TestFlight. Why? Because I want to build this tool with you.
In this version, you can:
Directly chat with your testers to understand their pain points.
Send instant surveys to get structured feedback, not just 'it works'.
Build a community around your app before it even hits the App Store.
We have a 10,000 tester limit due to TestFlight rules, so grab your spot while you can! 🐶
I'll be here all day to answer your questions and test your apps in return!
@dawedeveloper As someone currently preparing an app launch, I felt this immediately! 😅 Silent installs are frustrating – you know people are there, but you don’t know what they think. Really like the idea of turning feedback into something reciprocal instead of one-way. Rooting for this!

@tereza_hurtova Thank you so much! 🙌 It’s exactly that feeling of 'building in a vacuum' that I want to eliminate. Knowing people are using the app but having zero data on their experience is a nightmare for any dev.
Since you are preparing your own launch, TesterBuddy is built specifically for this phase! 🚀 Our reciprocity model ensures you get those critical early signals and UX feedback before you hit the 'Submit' button for the App Store.
Good luck with your upcoming launch—would love to see your app in our community soon! 🐶
@dawedeveloper
Hi David 👋
I just explored TesterBuddy — really like how you’re solving the “silent TestFlight install” problem. The reciprocity + direct chat combo is especially smart for early-stage iOS devs trying to get real UX feedback before launch.
One thing I noticed: as more testers join, it might become harder for makers to quickly identify which feedback is high-impact vs noise. A small refinement in how insights are surfaced could make the experience even more powerful.
I’d be happy to put together a mini-audit with 3 actionable suggestions from a UX + feedback-loop perspective — would you like me to send it over?

Hi! Thank you so much for the kind words and for digging into the concept. 🐶
You hit the nail on the head regarding the 'noise' problem. As we scale from a small group to a larger community, keeping the signal-to-noise ratio high is definitely one of our top priorities for the next iterations.
I would absolutely love to see your mini-audit! 🚀 Fresh, expert eyes on our UX and feedback loop are exactly what we need in this pre-launch phase.
Please feel free to send it over here in the messages, or find me on X - my handle is in my profile. Looking forward to your insights!
Love the focus on short, actionable feedback instead of long exploratory sessions. Clear positioning. Curious to see how teams use this during fast iteration cycles.

@sergioding Thanks, Sergio! 🚀
You hit the nail on the head. We really wanted to move away from those long, exhausting surveys that testers usually ignore.
During fast iteration cycles, you don't need a 20-minute interview—you often just need to know if the new UI 'clicked' or if a specific bug is gone. Our instant polls and direct chat are designed to give devs that quick 'pulse' of their app in real-time.
We are still in the pre-launch phase, so I'm very excited to see how teams adapt this for their daily sprints! 🐶
Congrats on launching TesterBuddy.
The “silent TestFlight install” problem is very real. Getting installs without feedback is frustrating, especially when you are trying to improve before going live. I like that you are focusing on direct chat and instant surveys instead of just another feedback form. That feels much more actionable for indie iOS devs.
The idea of building a small community around the app even before the App Store release is also smart. Early users who feel heard usually turn into long-term advocates.
Curious to see how you plan to maintain feedback quality as the community grows, especially with the karma system. If executed well, this could become a strong loop for both testers and makers.

@sujal_thaker
Thank you! 🚀 You nailed the long-term vision—turning early testers into advocates by making them feel heard is exactly why we integrated the chat and polls directly into the experience.
Regarding the karma system and quality control as we grow: that is our biggest focus. The plan is to reward not just any feedback, but actionable feedback. We want the karma to reflect how helpful a tester actually is, creating a loop where the best makers and testers naturally find each other.
In this pre-launch phase, we are carefully observing these early interactions to fine-tune that balance before the community scales.
I'd love to hear your thoughts on karma systems if you've seen any that worked particularly well! 🐶

Cool idea! Always tough to get feedback from TestFlight users. So if someone downloads your ap on TestFlight they can use TesterBuddy to send more detailed feedback?
Planelo
@daniele_packard Thanks, Daniele! 🚀
Exactly! Instead of just getting a silent install, with TesterBuddy you get a direct line to your testers. 🐶
Once they are in your beta through our community, they can use the integrated chat and instant polls to send you detailed, real-time feedback. It’s all about making that communication frictionless so you don’t have to chase people for bug reports or UX thoughts.
We are currently in the pre-launch phase, focusing on building this high-quality exchange between devs. Would love to have you try it out with your next build!
