@sbrands Great question! The codes generated would be the same as if you had authenticated with your phone (e.g. scanned the QR code).

What's up guys. I initially built a hacky version of this for a small startup I was working with. They were cheap (like all good startups) and couldn't afford buying individual licenses and seats for certain services, so the employees would routinely share logins/passwords for shared accounts. However, the startup soon mandated that all services be minimally secured with 2FA (two-factor authentication), which became annoying as there would be one person with access to an account and everyone else had to ping them for the code. I decided to write a script for them so they could securely share codes via Slack. Anyway, I took that initial idea and built this, so other small teams out there can enjoy the benefits of 2FA while still being budget conscious. Let me know if you have any questions!
