I created this service both after realizing the number of hours I'd spend breaking down projects to come up with estimates for clients could be streamlined with AI, and also that when working with the AI in Cursor or Windsurf I spent a lot of time tweaking the context to get things just right to have it work with me efficiently. While building it I also realized that I could enhance the workflow even further by adding things like ensuring that the AI makes proper suggestions and best practices, etc... This one tool solves both breaking down projects into their different pieces to work all the way to greatly enhancing the context of the AI in something like Cursor or WIndsurf so it knows what I need to do and work on just by saying something like "I want to work on task XYZ-1". It even caught me by surprise what happened while I initially was testing out the MCP server (that gives the connection from Cursor or Windsurf to Taskeract.). After I told it I wanted to start on a particular task, and it load the AI's context window up with the task (and all related parents story, feature, and project information), the AI just began with a first pass of some code for it, unprompted. That was unexpected, however I am quite pleased that it did that, because it shows how automating the feed of information to fill the context is beneficial! We're offering 100 free AI prompt credits that will be automatically credited to all new accounts, even the free account. To give people a chance to see what it's all about and how it works.
