Taperly is race prep for triathletes, built for your first one. Pick your race from 220 IRONMAN, Challenge, T100 and local events, or add your own. Your packing list splits into the real bags for your distance, one for a sprint, five for an IRONMAN, and every item is yours to edit. Plus a checklist from a month out, a race-morning timeline from your start time, race-day weather with a wetsuit check, and reminders. After the race it asks what you forgot. No account, free on iPhone.
I built Taperly while getting ready for my own IRONMAN 70.3. Training had a plan. Everything around the race didn't: which bag gets what, what to do the day before, when to wake up on race morning. It lived in notes, PDFs and my head.
The problem: we asked 262 triathletes what they forgot on race day. Nutrition, race belts, bike shoes left at the hotel. None of it was training.
How it evolved: it started as one packing list. But an IRONMAN has five bags and a sprint has one, so the list now splits into the real bags for your distance, with a tick for packed at home and another for in the bag. Then came the checklist from a month out, the race-morning timeline from your start time, weather and wetsuit rules. And after each race Taperly asks what you forgot and adds it to your next list.
