A hand-curated catalogue of session-by-session, project-driven learning binders, supported by a human community.

I’m Lai Jing, a product designer who started out in architecture and has had to keep pivoting and upskilling throughout my career. I built Syllabind because I believe there’s no shortage of information online, but it’s often scattered. And while information is easy to share, genuine human support and a learning community are harder to find. Syllabind is my effort to address both problems.
Between AI FOMO and endless resource lists, social media feeds make us feel like there’s just too much to keep up with. Syllabind is a catalogue of “binders”: curated, sequenced mini-courses with readings, resources, and projects. Signature binders also offer the option to book on-demand calls with the binder creator or a subject expert. We’re starting a Slack community for learners, and we also host live sessions periodically.
“Frontend Code Literacy for Designers in the AI Era” + "Ship designs in code with AI without losing your soul" help designers fill a common skills gap. I’ve found few resources that teach designers to understand code without requiring them to write it. I’ve gathered compelling resources, added my own annotations, and sequenced the learning to help designers build a mental model from scratch.
I also wanted to include free titles on related topics like “From Building to Selling: Go-to-Market for Solo Builders” to help vibe coders who’ve built their own products (like me) expand their skills, or something lighter like “Creative Reset Through Drawing” — just to take a break.
More titles are coming soon! Create an account to dig in and explore. Excited to see you enroll and let me know what you think!
