Session was well designed. Having the questions pre prepped with a crib sheet meant the interviews ran smoothly, and found the feedback was more valuable than practising with a narrow group of friends/family. Would recommend - definitely worth a try given the sessions are free

Thanks @jamie_bristow! Glad you found it valuable! Let me know if there is anything you think we can improve.

I did Swyg's Digital Marketing Interview practice session last week and it was one of the most novel and fun experiences I'd had in a long time online. Particularly in a semi-professional context. Even if you're not job hunting at the moment it feels like an interesting way to practise your skills when it comes to interviewing others and sharpens up a lot of general interviewing techniques you should have down. 10/10 recommend doing for the novelty at least!

Thanks a lot @finn_murphy! Glad you liked the experience. I hope we can actually make job interviews fun for everyone :) Though that's a big challenge! Stay tuned.

πŸ‘‹ Hello Product Hunters! Looking for work is really hard, especially now. That's why we built Swyg Interview Practice to give candidates a boost. I've seen so many amazingly talented people struggle in interviews and not get the job they love. I've been in that place myself. What I learned the hard way is that the only way to improve is lots of practice. Getting through an interview is, of course, not the only part of getting a job but it is a stage where you only get one shot and every bit of help can give you the edge you need to get the job. πŸ‘‰ Swyg Interview Practice is designed to be collaborative. Candidates help other candidates by interviewing each other. This way, you get to practice interviewing the way it works in real life: with a real partner that can challenge you and ask follow up questions. In the end, the feedback you get comes from us. We'll help you understand your own strengths and weaknesses to help you improve and boost your confidence. Here is what you get: βœ… Several short 1:1 video chats with a partner βœ… Swyg provides questions and instructions, so no need to prepare βœ… Practice your own answers βœ… See the answers of others βœ… Get impartial feedback from Swyg to help you improve We're doing this as a service to the community. ❌ We do not sell your data to anyone. ❌ No fees, ever. We'd love to get some feedback to help us improve and I'm happy to answer any questions. Enjoy, and good luck!

Finally there is a tool that gives back the power in the hands of the candidates - empowering them to practice, get more confident and receive valuable feedback from peers. It’s simple, user friendly and beyond helpful - I recommend it to all my individual clients (exploring job opportunities) and corporate customers (looking for the right talent). Good luck at Swyg Interview Practice
Vincent Lonij
@radinanedyalkov Thanks a lot! Please do share with anyone that's looking for work and could use a boost.

This looks like such a useful tool. Right now for people prepping for interviews and later for HR folks to streamline the process a lot.
Vincent Lonij
Thanks @henkmrtn ! Yes, I really hope this will be a big help to the community in getting everyone back to work. Next up, changing the way interviewing is done for everyone :D

An excellent tool, congrats to all the team at Swgy for getting this live. Candidates can get the practice that they need for interviews and HR can streamline their part of the process. As a recruiter myself I can't stress the importance of interview prep and this is the best tool I've seen!
Vincent Lonij
@adam_byrne1 Thanks Adam! Great to get the perspective of a recruiter, especially that also from your perspective interview prep is key.
