I built Switchdesk because I was paying for Claude, ChatGPT and Copilot, and every one of them wanted me in its own app. When one agent got stuck or I ran out of usage, switching meant starting the conversation again somewhere else. Switchdesk is one desktop app for all of them. It runs each agent through its maker's official CLI, signed in with your own plan or API key, so there's no middleman and nothing extra to pay. You can: - Switch agents mid-chat, and the new one carries on from where the last one stopped - Run the same task on several agents and keep the best result - Start several tasks at once and watch them on a board - Review every change inline, with Keep and Undo, whichever agent made it - Set your permission rules once and have them apply to every agent If you don't write code, flip the switch in the top right to Desk. It's a plain chat that works on a folder of notes, spreadsheets and documents, with everything it makes previewed beside it. It's free and MIT licensed, with no account, no analytics and no telemetry, and it runs on Mac, Windows and Linux.
