Most AI image tools stop at one-shot generation. SurgePix keeps going: edit any layer, swap text, repaint a region, and stay on-brand with your brand kit. Or skip the UI — open-source agent skills let Claude Code & Cursor generate and edit visuals for you.

The photo editing effect is really quite good. It is especially suitable for those who need to modify pictures. Moreover, the package price is very reasonable. Why not give it a try right now?
SurgePix combines AI image generation with an editable canvas and precise image refinement, making it a practical platform for turning creative ideas into polished visuals with speed and flexibility.
Simply share your poster theme with SurgePix to get an AI-generated poster. You can edit separate layers or have the AI adjust selected layers afterward, which drastically improves poster-making efficiency and output quality.
The agent-skills part is what caught my eye. We generate social posts for online stores through n8n, and the pain is always the image that's almost right but needs one text fix. Can an agent call a single edit, like swapping the headline on an existing layer, through an API without Claude Code or Cursor? And does it render Arabic text correctly?
@ahmed_khaled32 Thanks for sharing your real experience, Ahmed! You can use our api to do that! To be honest, calling from api can do the same as our web tool. So you get 100% SurgePix capability. Go to https://surgepix.ai/for-agents, create an API, i and tell me what you think. Always here to help and discuss.
Layers that stay editable after the agent is done is the part I care about. When my agent builds a video I always want to nudge one thing by hand without redoing everything. Can you call it from an MCP client, or is it API only for now?
@joertemple Thanks, Joer. It doesn't work as an MCP. You can call it a skill from your agent, like ClaudeCodee or Cursor. Or you can call it from our api. That depends on your workflow.
a headline change should not mean rolling the dice on the whole visual again
being able to pull text out and edit it separately is the part i would start with
@saad_el_gueddari Yep, that is also what most of our users did. It's useful if you want to change the text of a poster or a deck.
When I swap a headline on one layer, does the brand kit keep the font spacing and fit the new text automatically? Curious how it handles much longer translated text.
@yuv23639661 That's a really specific question. It should keep the font spacing because it works like the .ttf format. And what the SurgPix agent generates uses the .ttf format as well.
