I run a 7-figure B2C SaaS that deals with a high volume of support tickets. Many of those support tickets fall through the cracks resulting in poor customer service, high churn, and unfortunately chargebacks. Most of the issues are repetitive and can be resolved easily and quickly, especially if we could address the customers' needs immediately. But the volume of tickets makes it difficult to properly respond to all of them. This becomes especially challenging as a bootstrapped/lean startup like ours where every cost matters, founder time is limited, and enterprise solutions are too expensive.
I explored existing customer support automation tools but found all of them were positioned towards enterprise use-cases with high price points, enterprise lock-ins, a pay-per-seat model, and a lengthy sales process before being able to see if it actually works for you.
I also really didn't want to move away from our existing lean support system (a simple gmail inbox).
I just wanted a simple AI solution that could take my existing email inbox and reply to customers for me with company document references, context-aware decision making, and most importantly, Stripe action-taking to automatically handle cancellations in a timely manner before it turns into a chargeback. That solution didn't exist.
I'm proud to say SupportBay handles all of this incredibly well and now is the first (and usually the final!) line of defense for our support tickets. It makes our customers happier, saves us time, saves us money by reducing chargebacks and unpleasant customer support experiences, and frees up more of our bandwidth. Happy to personally demo this for any founders overwhelmed with support like we were!
✨ Features on the roadmap for SupportBay:
1) Connect to your project management software (Monday.com, Linear, Trello, etc) to add bug reports, collect feedback, assign to-do's to team members, etc - on autopilot.
2) Add any REST API to SupportBay so that AI can take direct action inside any application for you to enhance your automated customer support. (i.e. communicate with your Bubble.io app, perform tasks via AWS, etc).
