I switched to a Mac from Windows. Almost everything was better, except the part I used every few minutes. On Windows each Chrome profile was its own taskbar button, so my client work and my own accounts were two separate places I could glance at and click. On the Mac they all collapsed into one Chrome icon. So every switch became a hunt. Click Chrome, get the wrong profile's window, open the profile menu, wait for a window to come forward, lose my place. Multiply that by a few dozen times a day and it stops being a small annoyance. I looked for a fix. Everything I found ran a second copy of Chrome with its own data folder, which meant signing in to every account again and paying for it in memory. That is not a fix, it is a trade. Superdock is what I wanted to exist: your Chrome, untouched, with one Dock icon per profile and only that profile's windows behind it. I use it every day. Support emails come to me, and I answer them.
