That's exactly the balance I was going for — the free tier needs to be genuinely useful or "no credit card" doesn't mean anything, but the paid features should still be the obvious next step once you feel the itch (usually right around "wait, how many things am I paying for that I forgot about").
Appreciate you noticing the restraint was intentional and not just a stingy trial dressed up nicer.
