Strawberry 1.0
Launching today
Strawberry is an AI browser that can do hours of work in minutes.
Strawberry's agents, which we call "Companions", can research hundreds of leads in parallel, transcribe your meetings, automate follow-ups, and handle all the repetitive admin your team keeps procrastinating.
Create or hire a pre-made companion, teach it your preferences and share it with your whole team. Hundreds of teams, including Lovable, Tandem Health and ElevenLabs, already use Strawberry.

Hi everyone! Charles here, and I'm really excited to share Strawberry 1.0 with you 🍓
A year ago we launched our beta here on Product Hunt. Back then, Strawberry was a simple browser with a built-in AI agent.
Today it's a fully fledged agent platform that hundreds of teams, including Lovable, Tandem Health and ElevenLabs, use to run agents around the clock, transcribe meetings and build a shared company context.
We call these agents "companions".
🫠 The problem
Developers already have great AI agents that can work for hours on end, like Claude Code and Codex. But those tools are built for people who work in files, not tabs. These apps are powerful, but usually too complex for the average non-technical team.
Newer assistants like Dots, Grok Bot and Instinct are much more delightful and intuitive, and they're great for consumers. But they're hard to rely on for real team work. You mostly work through one long chat and can't easily see what the agent is doing.
🌐 Why we built a browser
The browser strikes the perfect balance between intuitive and powerful.
Everyone knows how to use a browser, and it's where most of your team's work already happens. Your tools, your context and your logins are all there. The browser as the interface makes it much easier for e.g. sales, marketing and talent teams to get started with agents, while still being possible to build advanced systems that run on their own.
We're also big believers in the agentic web. Soon there will be trillions of AI agents communicating and trading with each other. With Strawberry, you are ready for that future, while your companions can still leverage today's internet.
🧩 What you get
• You can start with an official companion, like Sales Sally for sales or Talent Theo for recruiting, or create your own in a few minutes. Your companion interviews you and learns how you work.
• You can see and edit everything your companion knows and does: its skills, routines and memory.
• Big jobs run in parallel. Ask it to research 200 accounts and you get one finished sheet back.
• When a companion works well, share it, and your whole team can use it.
• Use any AI model you like. We're SOC 2 Type II compliant with EU data residency, and your companion always asks before it sends anything.

What's the first job you'd give your companion? Our whole team is in the comments all day, and we'll share the wackiest answers in our team chat 👀
@charles_maddock sounds really great for single user cases, but how does the whole team benefit from it?
companions running agents all day for sales and recruiting folks is a nice step past dev tools. when one finishes something overnight, where does it tell you?
@neerajnathany thanks! It shows up as a regular chat in your sidebar.
@sebastian_thunman ok that's simple, a normal chat in the sidebar. thanks Sebastian.
@neerajnathany it can answer you anywhere you want. Connect it with Slack, Gmail, Hubspot, or whatever tool you're using and it can notify you in there!
@coffecup25 good to know it can ping me in Slack or Gmail too. thanks Arian.
@neerajnathany Anywhere else you would want it to ping you? Always open to suggestion on how we can make the product better!
Really want to give it a try
Getting people to switch browsers is a big bet though, curious how you get teams to make the jump.
@aurelia_zambon really good point, in most of our messaging we don't even mention the browser part: It's more like a agent builder platform.
Try it out and lmk what you think! :)
@aurelia_zambon That's the thing, it's hard to convince people to switch browsers if the promise isn't anything more than a more pleasant browser experience. You need to offer something 10x to have them switch which is what we're doing (my unbiased opinion)
@aurelia_zambon Let us know what you think! We don't expect people to blindly switch browsers, we ask people to try it as a standalone product and if they want, they can eventually switch.
I hope you think we're worthy after trying it out!
I'm Gen X and not a coder, but I've been found Stawberry has become essential since I began using it at the start of the year. It assists with work more intuitively and elegantly than any other comparable tools I trialed like the better-hyped agentic browsers. I used it to move photos from one platform into Apple Photos, retaining all folders, captions, tags, etc., successfully and painlessly. I used it to navigate complex government databases and efficiently uncover specific records. I used it to audit 3,900 booking links and content on a major website. The Strawberry team, even the cofounders, have been super responsive to customer feedback, making the interface user-friendly and giving me confidence they have the company culture and talents to keep iterating and make it worthwhile to bet on this horse.
@sean_o_neill6 Hi Sean, I really appreciate your words and your support. We care a lot about providing the best possible experience and innovating on the user interface to make agents more accessible. Much more to come around usability and delightfulness!
@sebastian_thunman Grateful for your team in helping users be even more ambitious in their work than they imagined they could be. Takes the friction out of agent-building for high-ROI uses.
@charles_maddock Congrats on the launch Can Strawberry handle follow ups automatically too?
@charles_maddock @shivam_kushwaha16 Thanks! Yes, your companions in Strawberry can do anything you can do in a browser and more!
Congrats on 1.0. Running companions in parallel only helps if they can get past logins, so how does one handle a site that asks for a 2FA code halfway through a job?
@adityaharish2002 This is a solved problem in Strawberry!
Since it's a browser on your device, the agent will ask you for help if it runs into a 2FA login.
Then you can just open that tab, complete the login for the agent, and then tell it to continue! :)
Have you made a companion yet? What did you call it?
@adityaharish2002 That's the benefit of being a browser! It uses the same login sessions as you and if you're logged out, it will go as far as it can and then notify you when it's stuck.
gave strawberry, dia and claude the same task: find stuff online for a hardware project im working on. strawberry did a way better job than both, and used less RAM too! INSANE how good this is 🐐
@leahlundqvist that's the benefit of being a browser!! it's so much more natural than having to jump to a second app to do all of the agentic work
