Hi everyone, I'm Jeff the lead developer/technologist for StowAware (https://stowaware.com). I'll be available to answer any of your questions about our product. StowAware is a low cost, real-time tracking device that lasts an entire year. No setup, no installation, no charging. Buy it, and before we even drop it in the mail, you’ll be able to see it’s location on your phone, tablet, or personal computer. For $59.99 you get one StowAware with three free automatic updates a day for an entire year. Plus, we'll throw in an extra 100 on-demand updates you can use whenever and however you like. We're also running some of our own tests to see what happens to recycling (http://stowaware.com/p/cKIZCw), garbage (http://stowaware.com/p/87yxNw) and those random clothing donation bins (http://stowaware.com/p/k57k6A) that you can follow along with public shares and see the user interface. There are also more device pictures and user interface samples available on our google+ page (https://plus.google.com/+Stowawa...)

@jkantarek What inspired StowAware?
Jeff Kantarek
@FelixReznik It grew from a general frustration of high priced location services that lasted only days with regular use. We were looking for a device that could go for a month or two with regular updating for car shippers or slow moving packages that have to be shipped via ground but couldn't find anything. On top of that there were consistent headaches in dealing with cell carriers and we felt that process should be something users shouldn't have to worry about.

A black box for anything is a good, logical pitch. I think that the price point is a bit high end for it to be pitched as a solution to track packages though at the moment though.
Jeff Kantarek
@_jacksmith Thanks! We're always trying to get the device cost lower to reach that target market and deal with recyclability and environmental friendliness. Right now it's great for big ticket items like TVs, medical equipment, jewlery or car shipping that make more sense. With the current device and a 14 day USPS round trip window you can effectively get 26 shipments with the one year device which comes out to $2.30 per shipment. If it's USPS 3-day shipping you're approaching $1 per shipment over a year.

@jkantarek bit of a stretch imho, as the person's not going to mail it straight back. But I think that you're at a good start and if the price can get significantly lower over time, then lots more opportunities evolve.

Hey. Do I understand correctly that a special controller interacting with satellites? So not only the point of Avto location in space, and also in time, is precisely determined. Therefore we determine with high precision the time of each stop of the auto transporter? Can I use your tracking system for a car shipping company https://getcarrier.com/car? And this will allow controlling the movement of each auto transporter, which allows you to respond quickly in case of unforeseen circumstances or in case of violation of the route schedule. Such monitoring (tracking) of car carriers through these navigation systems allows us to provide the client with information about the location of his vehicles at any time.
