Health care professionals recommend to walk 10,000 steps per day to stay in good shape. You want to take that daily challenge? StepUp is the app you need. Easy to use, it helps you to reach your goal every single day.
@imesaros indeed looks awesome!
And will also look rad if you ever come to Garmin with this style :)

💡 Bright idea
I like the gamified element of this app, which makes basic health benefits more fun. Does the app send reminders to get you moving and can you compare your results with your friends for a bit of healthy competition?
@danielle_mee Thank you very much Danielle for your message! Yes it does send reminders at 8pm to tell you how many steps remain to walk and another push notification when you reach your step goal.
I'm considering to implement GameCenter to compete with friends, maybe by the end of the summer! 🤞🏆

@frboulais Thanks for coming back to me François! Great and are the reminders customisable? As someone who works from home, I think I'd benefit from more frequent reminders to get moving throughout the day. I find some days I've only done 2k steps by 4pm which is pretty poor. Definitely add the competitive element if you can, for example, I'd use the app with work colleagues to compare who moved the most in the day whilst working remotely.
The UI looks awesome. I also like the widget for the home screen 👌🏻 What about live activities on iOS do you also support them?
Congrats on the launch 💪🏻💪🏻
@crebuh Thank you Christopher! Actually I started working on it but it's not stable enough yet to be released! I'll probably release it by the end of the summer!

Congratulations on StepUp! I think it's perfect for remote workers like me - gotta fight that chair coma. 😊
Speaking of remote workers (if they are in fact your target audience), I think calendar integration might be a cool way to get those steps in. Imagine getting a friendly reminder a few minutes before a meeting to see if it's one you could tackle standing up or taking a quick walk around the block.
Too often, hitting our health goal is about weaving healthy habits into our existing routines, and calendar integration feels like a great way to do that for this group. What do you think?

Been using StepUp for a while, it is a real "blast from the past" kind of UI, but that is a great thing. Love the widgets that are available too. Great work and good luck with the PH launch.
