Stamplo is a safe pen pal platform for children aged 7 to 14. Parents approve every penpal and every letter before it is sent or received. Kids collect country stamps while making global friends. No ads no algorithms just safe positive friendships.

I’m Liam, founder of Stamplo and dad of two.
I built Stamplo because my kids deserve better than likes, streaks, or endless scrolling.
This is a personal mission for me.
• Safe, parent-approved pen pals
• No ads, no algorithms
• Kindness over clicks
Letters are encrypted, approvals are double-checked by parents, and everything follows the UK’s gold-standard Children’s Code for online safety.
I’d love your feedback, especially from other parents or anyone who cares about safer spaces for children in general.
Another update!
11 months in now and a lot has changed.
When we launched last May/June, identity verification was optional. Since January 2026 it's been mandatory — every parent must verify their identity before their child can connect with anyone. It felt like a risk at the time though turns out it wasn't. 43% of everyone who signs up completes full ID verification and starts using the platform.
We now have families across 40+ countries and children sending letters every single day. All organic, no paid acquisition.|
We also just launched Stamplo World — 18 country pages where children can learn about the places their pen pals live. And yesterday, with the government announcing a legal phone ban in schools, I wrote about what the ban misses and what I think actually helps: stamplo.kids/blog/phone-ban-schools-children
Still no ads, no algorithms, no feeds and now with every parent verified.
Update from Me/Stamplo
I'm a few months in now and kids using Stamplo.kids have sent letters that traveled over 217,000 miles total (virtually, and yes i know email do this but you get the idea!). That's almost the distance to the Moon.
Despite starting this for my own kids, it's now organically spread to 29 countries which is wild!
Just a reminder of how it works: both parents check letters before they go through, everything's encrypted, and there are no ads or feeds. Just pen pals.
Those miles mean something to me. They're proof kids can connect online without all the usual internet garbage.
