👋 Hey Product Hunt! I’m Salman, a full-time software engineer who’s struggled with tracking expenses and splitting money with friends. I’ve always felt awkward reminding them about what’s owed, thanks to my shy nature. The other issue I had was tracking debts with my friends. So I decided to build an app (Split Share) to handle it for me—sending notifications on my behalf on every expense. ✨ Core features: ✅ Create groups (like trips, roommates, events) ✅ Add expenses and split equally or by custom amounts ✅ Track balances with clear summaries ✅ Send automatic reminders to friends (so you don’t have to) ✅ Works great solo (with 1:1 friend transactions) or with groups. 💡 Why I built it: 👉 I kept forgetting who paid for what 👉 I hated sending money reminders 👉 Group expense apps felt bloated or complicated 👉 I want to track debts with my friends. 🙏 Even if this sounds 1% useful to you, I’d love it if you give it a try.
