Sobriety Companion App - Think Jira for your sobriety

Most sobriety apps give you a day counter and call it a day. Sobers gives you the tools to actually stay accountable. The problem: Recovery is a full-time job with no project manager. The solution: Sobers brings real accountability to recovery. Connect with your sponsor through secure invite codes. Track milestones with visual timelines. Manage recovery tasks like a pro. And when life happens, honest relapse workflows help you reset without shame.

I built Sobers because I got tired of apps that reduced my recovery to a single number. When I got sober, I downloaded every sobriety app I could find. They all did the same thing: count days. But recovery isn't just about days—it's about the work. The calls with my sponsor. The step work. The daily habits that keep me grounded. The moments I almost slipped and didn't. I wanted something that tracked the journey, not just the streak. Something that connected me to my sponsor without the awkwardness of group texts. Something that didn't make me feel like a failure when I had to reset. So I built it. Sobers is for anyone in recovery—whether you're in a 12-step program, working with a therapist, or figuring it out on your own. No judgment, no gatekeeping. A few things I'd love your feedback on: - What features would make this more useful for you or someone you know? - How do we talk about recovery apps without being preachy or clinical? - Where and how do we market this app? Thanks for checking it out. This one's personal. — Bill

I like the “Jira for sobriety” angle a lot. Tasks, milestones, and accountability make way more sense than just a day counter. A lightweight daily check in or reflection might be a nice addition if it’s not already there.

Sober feels like a very thoughtful tool for anyone navigating behavior change and habits. Helping people track progress and reflect in a structured, supportive way could make accountability feel more actionable. Congrats on launching this on Product Hunt!
