@kallefreese Thanks for the message Kalle. We're equally eager to see results as you are :) This project or something like it was long time coming. I have been quietly thinking about climate and the planet probably some five years trying to figure out how to tackle the impending disaster. Tried to start other projects/companies in between thinking I'd have the money to tackle the the big one if successful. Failed and stopped before actually even starting given I had no heart in it and lacked conviction. Obvious at hindsight. Over the years I did learn it's challenging to find a way to really have an impact on the outcome given the nature of climate change. Do something that matters at scale. Climate change has so many facets that there's no silver bullets. Even Sliced started with a different focus but ultimately it's really build to solve my own problem - to be able to look at the mirror in the morning and work on the biggest and most serious challenge we have yet to face. That is not to say there are many other worthy causes I would love to work on but this is the one I can't escape. I was fortunate enough to persuade Viljami to join the quest so that there's someone who can actually build great products.

That's a good idea and site could help involve more people in solving global problems. I wish there were more environmental products at PH 😉 Just one thing. I went through all registration process but was confused by the last step. How long am I supposed to wait for e-mail? I did not get it soon, so clarification of "soon" would be more friendly for the user. Really curious to see what's next. Good luck!

We haven't set up any auto-response template so 'soon' in this case means as soon as we get to your message and personally reply to you. We would like to talk to every person who sign-ups instead of pushing you to an automated funnel. We know it might be hard going forward but that's the aspiration. Give us 48 hours max. @bryantchou Great to have you onboard and thanks for the great question Brian. We are currently in talks with a good number and already working with a handful. In all honesty we started reaching out very recently. We wanted to start to talking also to possible candidates as soon as possible hence the lack of examples on the website. Most roles are still very technical from early stage startups. To take a random example which gives you an idea, we have a Chief Scientist role with requirement for post-PhD or equivalent industry experience in Stem / progenitor cell culture, tissue engineering, cell line development, 3D cell culture, cellular reprogramming, gene editing, bioprocess development. This is a company providing cell based high quality and sustainable meat products for China. That being said, we are reaching out fast and hoping to add roles from all walks of work including less technical ones. Also always appreciate introductions or leads to new companies and projects 🙌

When in the end of registration you offer sharing to other platforms the message should be more meaningful. Instead of "Ch-chek it out" I wrote something like this "Take care about the future of our planet with joining the community of helpers". Overall pretty much interested how is this going to work! 😎

@itkosarkas Love your thoughtful response. You're so right and your suggestion is perfect. We tried to be funny since we're Beastie Boys fans but clearly failed here. Given the severity of the issue I personally struggle with how to mix in humor and positive beat so it would not all be doom and gloom. Great to have you on board Uros!

I'm really looking forward to see what this service offers me – the process of signing up and sharing my interests was really easy.
