Singularity is a turn-based strategy game about the race to build superintelligence. Run an AI lab, out-race rival labs, make the calls the real industry is arguing about, then gamble on whether the AI you built is aligned. Eleven endings. Free, no ads, no timers.
Hi all 👋
I wanted to share a passion project I've been working on. Over the past six weeks, with a lot of trial and error and feedback from friends and testers, I built Singularity, a turn-based strategy game about the AI race that's happening all around us right now.
You run an AI lab, racing your rivals to build the first superintelligence. You pick what to research and build, deal with the rivals trying to get there first, and make a lot of the same calls the real industry is arguing about. Then at the very end you switch on what you built, and whether it stays under your control comes down to the choices you made along the way. There are eleven endings, from utopia to bankruptcy to full Skynet apocalypse.
The part people have been reacting to most is that your AI's alignment is never shown as a number. Your safety team gives you a vague read, and the final switch-on is a leap of faith, based on your accumulated actions up to that point.
Ps - for transparency, I built it solo, mostly written with Claude Code and using SDXL running off my graphics card for the art, but all the concepts, design, direction and iterations were my own.
It's free on Google Play, the full campaign, with one optional $4.99 unlock for extra characters. iOS is in review.
Happy to answer any questions, and I'd genuinely value your feedback, on the game and on the questions behind it.
